Register – fees

All people wishing to attend the 19th EWRS Symposium, that will take place in Athens from 20 to 23 June 2022, are very welcome and are encouraged to register as soon as possible. 

There are different registration options for either physical or for virtual attendance, as follows:

  • Regular registration will be open until June 5th, 2022. According to the current governmental regulations rules for the COVID-19, it is possible that only a limited number of participants may be allowed. If these rules remain in place, participants will be managed on a ‘first come first serve’ basis.
  • Late registration will be possible from June 6th to June 17th, 2022, with a 50 euro overcharge applied to each registration type.
  • All prices excluding VAT (EWRS is a non-profit organisation)

Cancelations – Refunding Policy

Cancellations and changes to your registration must be made in writing.

For cancellations made:

  • Up to May 31, 2022: 25% of the total cost of each item will be retained.
  • From June 1 to June 12, 2022: 50% of the total cost of each item will be retained.
  • After June 13, 2022: 100% of the total cost of each item will be retained.

Τhe Symposium will be held in accordance with the rules and restrictions set by the Greek state and the laws.

For cancelation due to an unforeseen event (vis major- force majeure) for which the organizer is not responsible, according the Greek civil law (AK 336) “the organizer is released from any obligation due to inability to fulfill the service, if he proves that the inability is due to an event for which he is not responsible. However, theprovider of the service upon obtaining such knowledge or awareness of the impossibility of fulfillment, must notify accordingly the recipient of the service”. In any case the event will be held virtually. 

 


 

COVID-19 Health and Safety Rules

The EWRS organizing Committee is really concerned about the current health issues related to COVID-19 disease and the attendees’ safety is our priority. The organizing committee has ensured that the venue complies with all security requirements set by the Greek State and authorities to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

There will be entry requirements to the event to ensure safety. Upon arrival, all event speakers, sponsors, attendees and staff will be asked to show documents requested by the Greek governmental regulations at the time of the Symposium.
